Can I use the screen of my smartphone through the case window?

Of course you can ! The window is made of an extremely sensitive conductive material.
Can I charge my smartphone inside the case with an USB cable ?

Yes, sure you can. There is a special hole which allows you to insert an USB cable inside the case.

We have a range of INVISIBLE CABLES on our accessories page. The connector of it is so thin that it look invisible when plugged into your smartphone.

I'm afraid that my smartphone / GPS will vibrate or moves in the case :(

IMPOSSIBLE, even if your device is very small. The red separator in the center of the cover is a kind of gel-like cushion. It helps to cancel the vibrations and prevents the device from moving. So, no worries ;)
What is the purpose of the black foam in the case?

The black foam is an adapter for small smartphones, in the case you want to be sure that your device will not move during your ride.

To be honest, there is no necessity of using it, even if you have a very small smartphone, it will never move inside the case.

Is the SO EASY RIDER case waterproof ?

YES, it is. In case of heavy rainfall we advise you to use the Rain Cover which is provide with case.
Can the SO EASY RIDER cover be used underwater?

Not at all ! Waterproof doesn’t means submersible
Can my SO EASY RIDER case fly off with the speed?

It’s just IMPOSSIBLE ! Even at 400 kmh, the case can’t be take off

Compatibilities
Is it possible to add an external battery in the SO EASY RIDER case?

Yes sure, a second compartment is available inside the case. You can place anything you want in it.
If you want to place an external battery, it should not be bigger than 16.2 CM X 8.4 CM / 6,29’’ X 3.14’’.
Is my smartphone compatible with the SO EASY RIDER Comboz/T-Fighter holder?

Yes no doubt. The SO EASY RIDER is now universal and is compatible with smartphones from 4’’ to 5.8’’ (Exemple : iPhone 4 to X, Galaxy S3 to S8)

If you think that your smartphone is bigger than a iPhone X or a Galaxy S8, take its measurements. It should not be bigger than 16.2 CM X 8.4 CM / 6,29 ‘’ X 3.14’’
Is my SATNAV/GPS device compatible with the SO EASY RIDER Comboz/T-fighter holder?

Probably yes, most of the GPS up to 5.8 ‘’ fit in the SO EASY RIDER case.

If you think that your GPS is really too big, take its measurements. It should not be bigger than 16.2 CM X 8.4 CM / 6,29 ‘’ X 3.14’’
Can I install a former model of a SO EASY RIDER case on the Comboz mounts ?

Yes sure, you can use your old model case from SO EASY RIDER V4 (2010) until now with the Comboz mount.

You will need to buy the Ball plate BPCS-ACC + the Comboz mount of your choice. You can find those parts on this page
Can I install the Evolution Kit on a former model of a SO EASY RIDER case ?

Yes sure, you can use your old model of case from SO EASY RIDER V4 (2010) until now with the Evolution kit.

Can the magnetic field damage my smartphone / GPS?

No, impossible. The magnetic field of the Evolution Kit is not powerful enough to damage a smartphone or GPS positioned in the SO EASY RIDER case.

In the SO EASY RIDER case, the magnetic field can’t cause any damage to any device.
I'm afraid that my SO EASY RIDER case will be stolen when I'm at a red light, is there a solution?

Yes, sure ! We added a strap that is positioned around the articulated arm. If added, you will limit the risk of theft.
I'm afraid that my Evolution kit will be stolen when my motorcycle is parked, is there an anti-theft solution?

Yes, of course ! We have an antitheft system, you will find it on this page.
